About the product

The Makita DHR242 is an 18 V SDS Plus hammer drill with a brushless DC motor and three operating modes: rotary drilling, hammer drilling and chiselling.

A one-touch slide chuck allows SDS Plus bit changes. The handle is ergonomically designed, and the upper and lower tool housings are joined by vibration-absorbing cushion rubbers. This construction suppresses vibration transmission to the battery terminals.
