About the product
The Makita DHP487 is an 18 V LXT cordless brushless combi drill supplied with one 3 Ah Li-ion battery and a battery charger; no carry case is included.
It has two mechanical gears, variable speed control, a single-sleeve keyless chuck and 20 torque settings plus drill mode. Low gear is intended for heavy-duty work requiring high torque, while high gear is for faster drilling in light-duty applications. The overall length is 164 mm.
- Chuck capacity: 1.5–13 mm; maximum drilling diameter: 13 mm in masonry, 13 mm in steel and 36 mm in wood.
- Maximum fastening torque: 40 Nm for a hard joint and 25 Nm for a soft joint.
- No-load speed: 0–500 rpm in low gear and 0–1,700 rpm in high gear.
- Blows per minute: 0–7,500 in low gear and 0–25,500 in high gear.
- Also features an electric brake, forward/reverse rotation, LED job light and ergonomic handle.
- Noise: 94 dB(A) sound power and 83 dB(A) sound pressure. Vibration: 2.5 m/sec² when drilling into metal and 10.5 m/sec² when impact drilling into concrete.
