The Makita DHP484 is an 18 V cordless brushless combi drill with two mechanical gears and all-metal gear construction. Its hammer setting is for drilling into masonry and concrete; rotary mode is for driving screws and drilling wood, metal or plastic.

It has a variable-speed trigger, forward/reverse rotation, an electric brake, an LED worklight, a keyless chuck, an ergonomic soft grip and an aluminium gear housing. Overall length is 182 mm.
