About the product

The Makita DGA513 is a cordless angle grinder with an 18 V LXT Li-ion battery system and a brushless motor. It has a slide switch, a 125 mm maximum wheel diameter, a 22.23 mm bore and a maximum wheel thickness of 7.2 mm. Its no-load speed is 3,000–8,500 rpm, and its net weight is 2.4–3.0 kg.

A variable speed dial provides control for strip discs, flap discs and polishing applications. Soft start, a battery fuel gauge, an electric brake, an electronic current limiter and an anti-restart function are included. ADT adjusts speed and torque during operation; AFT switches off the motor if wheel rotation suddenly ceases when snagged. The grinder also has a slim-line body, forward grip handle, soft grip, wire mesh intake cover, removable dust covers and lock-on function.
