About the product
The Makita DGA504Z is a cordless angle grinder powered by an 18 V lithium-ion battery. It is supplied without a battery or charger and is compatible with the Makita 18V LXT platform.
A brushless motor and automatic speed control adjust rotation speed to load conditions: the tool can apply greater torque for heavy-duty cutting and run at higher speeds for light grinding and surface preparation. Safety and operating features include an anti-restart function, soft start, an electronic current limiter with overload protection, and a protection system that shuts down the motor if excessive heat or current draw is detected.
