The Makita DFT129F is an 18 V LXT cordless brushless production screwdriver for fastening work on assembly lines. It has a 1/4 in driving shank and a maximum fastening torque of 5.0–12.0 Nm for both hard and soft fastening.

Speed is controlled in seven programmable steps. Twin LED job lights have pre-glow and afterglow functions, and the battery protection system automatically shuts off power when the battery level is low.
