The Makita DF033D is a 12 V CXT cordless hex drill driver with a 1/4-inch hex drive shank. Its maximum drilling capacity is 21 mm in wood and 10 mm in steel.

It has 20 torque settings plus a drill setting, two mechanical gears, variable speed control and a no-load speed of 0–450 rpm on low or 0–1,700 rpm on high. Features include an electric brake, LED job light, ergonomic soft grip and forward and reverse trigger.
