The Makita DDF083 is a compact cordless brushless drill driver with an 18 V battery voltage and a 124 mm overall length. Its 1/4-inch hex holder has a locking quick release and accepts standard screwdriver bits and hex-shank drill bits or accessories.

For drilling and driving, it has a two-speed gearbox, variable speed trigger, electric brake, forward and reverse rotation, and 20 adjustable torque settings plus a drill mode. Maximum torque is 40 Nm in hard applications and 23 Nm in soft materials. The integrated LED job light illuminates the work area, and the soft-grip handle is ergonomically designed.
