About the product

The Makita DDA460ZK is a cordless angle drill with a brushless motor, powered by two Makita 18 V LXT lithium-ion batteries for 36 V total. It has two mechanical gears and a 2–13 mm chuck.

Drilling capacities in wood are 50 mm with an auger bit, 118/65 mm with a self-feed bit in low/high mode, and 159/105 mm with a hole saw in low/high mode. Steel drilling capacity is up to 13 mm.

  • Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjusts drilling speed to load; it also has auto power-off.
  • Features include an electric brake, forward/reverse rotation, variable-speed trigger, soft start, torque limiter and LED job light. The front handle fits in positions from 0° to 112.5°.
  • Maximum torque: 48 Nm at high speed and 136 Nm at low speed. No-load speed: 0–350/1,400 rpm.
  • Noise: 85/96 dB(A) sound pressure/power, K factor 3 dB(A). Metal-drilling vibration: 2.5 m/s², K factor 1.5 m/s².

The set includes a chuck key, grip assembly, hex wrench and carry case. Battery and charger are not included.
