About the product
The Makita DBN640 is a cordless metal connector nailer powered by the 18 V LXT lithium-ion battery platform. It uses a pneumatic spring drive system, so it operates without gas cartridges, a compressor or trailing hoses.
It drives round-head connector nails measuring 38–64 mm long and 3.3–4.1 mm in diameter. The magazine holds 31 nails and has a 30°–35° angle. Its adjustable depth mechanism controls nail penetration, while the anti-dry fire mechanism acts when the magazine is empty.
The slim nose aids visibility of the workpiece and access in confined spaces. An integrated LED job light has pre-glow and afterglow functions, and eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) provides resistance to dust and moisture ingress. The nailer is intended for joist hangers, framing brackets, structural fixing plates and metal connector hardware.
