The Makita DA4000LR is a 110 V angle drill with a 710 W motor. Its easy-change angle attachment offers high and low no-load speeds of 0–900 rpm and 0–400 rpm; without the attachment, the no-load speed is 0–600 rpm.
It has a maximum drilling capacity of 13 mm in steel and 38 mm in wood. A variable speed trigger and forward and reverse rotation provide control for drilling and fastening. The angle attachment has enhanced gears for heavy-duty use, and the drill is double insulated.
