Makita CLX228AJ 12v Max CXT Cordless Combi Drill and Impact Driver Kit 2 x 2ah Li-ion Battery Charger Case

The Makita CLX228AJ is a 12V Max CXT cordless combi drill and impact driver kit, comprising the HP333DZ combi drill and TD110DZ impact driver. Both tools have LED job lights and electric brakes. The combi drill drives screws and drills wood, metal and masonry; the impact driver is for high-torque fastening.

The HP333DZ has two speed ranges of 0–450 and 0–1,700 rpm, 20 torque settings, a 0.8–10 mm chuck and maximum torque of 34 Nm (30 Nm hard, 14 Nm soft). Its maximum drilling capacities are 21 mm in wood, 10 mm in steel and 8 mm in masonry; hole saw capacity is 42 mm. Its impact rate is 0–6,750 / 0–25,500 ipm and its weight with battery is 1.1–1.3 kg.

The TD110DZ has a 1/4-inch hex drive shank, maximum torque of 110 Nm, no-load speed of 0–2,600 rpm, impact rate of 0–3,500 ipm and standard bolt capacity of M5–M12. Its weight with battery is 1.0–1.2 kg.

The kit includes two BL1021B 2Ah Li-ion batteries, a DC10WD charger and a Makpac Type 1 carry case. The case stacks with other Systainer cases. CXT slide-on batteries support capacity options up to 4.0Ah and maintain performance in temperatures down to -20°C.
