About the product

The Makita BS002G is a cordless brushless pipe belt sander for grinding, sanding and polishing curved metal surfaces in fabrication and metalworking. It runs on the Makita 40 V XGT battery platform and uses Lithium-ion batteries; a battery is not included.

The sander handles pipes up to 125 mm in diameter and is compatible with 40 × 760 mm abrasive belts. Its belt speed adjusts from 190 to 810 m/min using the variable speed dial, while constant speed control maintains performance under load. The brushless motor and ergonomic design are also features of the tool.
