The Makita 9557NBR is a 110 V angle grinder with an 840 W continuous output power and a 115 mm grinding disc. It has an M14 spindle thread and a no-load speed of 11,000 min⁻¹.
Its labyrinth construction protects the motor and bearings from dust and debris. The grinder has a soft-start feature, an anti-restart function to prevent accidental start-up after a power interruption, a slide switch with lock-on for continuous use and a push-button spindle lock. The side grip can be positioned on either side, and it can connect to a dust extraction system with an optional dust collecting wheel guard.
