About the product

The Makita DUX18 garden multi-tool kit combines an 18 V LXT cordless split-shaft power head with an EM404MP brushcutter attachment, one 5 Ah BL1850B battery and a DC18RC charger.

The brushless power head has a loop handle, overload protection, electric brake, soft start, variable speed control and constant speed control. Its maximum output is 470 W; no-load speeds are 0–9,700 rpm on high and 0–6,800 rpm on low. Net weight is 2.8–10.3 kg.

The attachment uses a tool-less slide joint coupling with clip-lock fixing and has a steel drive shaft and bump-and-feed trimmer head. Cutting width is 230 mm and attachment net weight is 0.9 kg. The attachment is for Makita DUX60 and UX01G models. The DUX18 power head is compatible with hedge trimmer, line trimmer, brushcutter and pole saw attachments.
