Lumenition MMA150 Marine Optronic Ignition Kit – Boat Engines

The Lumenition MMA150 is a marine optronic ignition kit for boat engines. Its optical (infra-red) trigger replaces the contact breaker points and condenser, using a power module and optical switch. The system is described as having no points to wear, burn or adjust, with ignition timing staying set, easier starting and smoother running.

A Lumenition FK fitting kit for the distributor, including the chopper and mounting parts, is needed separately. The MMZ marine power module is available as a spare part on its own.

Before ordering, check the model number stamped on the distributor, its direction of rotation viewed from above the cap, and the vehicle's earth polarity. The system is for 12V systems unless stated.
