Lumenition HEG001 Narrow-Band HEGO Lambda Sensor – with Weld-in Boss

The Lumenition HEG001 is a narrow-band HEGO lambda sensor supplied with a weld-in boss. It reads the oxygen content of exhaust gas to indicate whether an engine is running rich or lean. The heated sensor reaches working temperature quickly.

The package contains the sensor and boss, which creates a mounting point in the exhaust. The boss must be welded into the exhaust by a competent welder or exhaust specialist. Check that the system is 12 V and that any air/fuel ratio meter or gauge is designed for narrow-band input. Fit the sensor in line with the supplied instructions. If you are not confident working on vehicle wiring, have it installed by a competent auto electrician or classic car specialist.
