About the product
The Hozelock water butt treatment is a 500 ml solution for stored rainwater in water butts and storage tanks. It is designed to prevent unpleasant odours and the build-up of scum, slime and algae.
The non-toxic formulation is suitable for water used on garden plants, vegetables and lawns. One bottle treats up to 6,400 litres of stored water, for garden irrigation.
A built-in dosing chamber has volume markings, and a second screw cap allows measured fluid release.
