About the product
The Hozelock Bokashi bran refill is a composting activator for the Bokashi Kitchen Composter system. It contains natural wheat bran and effective microorganisms, and was developed in Japan.
It is suitable for kitchen waste including meat, fish, dairy products, table scraps and vegetable waste. The fermentation process produces compost tea in 5 days, while composted material is ready to use in 15–20 days.
Fermented compost can be added to conventional compost heaps or dug into garden soil. When used before planting or seeding, apply it at least 14 days beforehand. The refill is suitable for use in organic production and weighs 1kg.
