About the product
The Hozelock BioMix is a 19 L composting tank for making plant feed or insecticide from plants such as nettles and comfrey.
It has a lid with an integrated mixing handle, a filter to separate the liquid and a tap at the bottom for filling a container or sprayer. The lid also prevents bad odours from escaping.
To prepare a batch, add 1 kg of plant material and 10 litres of water, close the lid and mix the solution every 2 days for 1–3 weeks. When ready, draw off the filtered liquid through the tap. Dilute the solution with water before use.
