Handy THTS175 Towable Feed and Grass Broadcast Spreader 79kg

The Handy THTS175 is a towable broadcast spreader for distributing fertiliser, pesticide and grass seed during the growing season, or salt in winter. Its 80 kg (175 lb) hopper capacity and 3.05–3.66 m (10–12 ft) working width are suited to spreading over larger areas.

An adjustable feed control helps regulate the material flow, while the hopper screen prevents clogging. A rain-cover keeps the hopper contents dry. The spreader has a manual drive, a powder-coated, rust-resistant chassis, a poly hopper and an aluminium gearbox. Its pneumatic tyres measure 35.5 cm (14 inches), and the machine weighs 24 kg net or 26 kg gross. A hitch pin is included, and it fits most makes of lawn tractor.

Refined ice-melting salt can be used, but salt may corrode components and reduce the machine’s life. Clean the spreader thoroughly after using refined de-icing salt. Do not use rock salt: it can damage the mechanism and shorten the product’s life.
