About the product
The Handy THDS is a hand-push drop spreader with a manual drive and folding handle.
Its poly hopper has a stated capacity of 27 kg and holds up to 27.3 kg (60 lb). The 56 cm (22 in) spread pattern is paired with fingertip cable control to open and shut the gate. It has direct drive, two large plastic wheels and a plastic agitator with a flow bar. The spreader weighs 6 kg.
It is not suitable for rock salt: using rock salt can damage the mechanism and shorten the product's life. Refined de-icing salt can be used, but it may corrode the spreader and reduce its life. Clean the spreader thoroughly after using refined de-icing salt.
