About the product

The Gunson 77003 is a vacuum pump for checking vacuum-operated systems on cars and light commercial vehicles. Its gauge range is 0–76 cmHg (0–30 inHg).

The set includes a barbed brass hose fitting, release valve, 600 mm T fitting, tapered hose adaptor and universal fitting adaptor. It has a cushioned handle grip, robust steel frame and brass cylinder.

Tests include automatic transmissions, vacuum reservoirs, air conditioning and heating, heater cones, brake systems including ABS and conventional systems, engine management and emission control systems, engine tuning, fuel and ignition systems. It can also be used for engine maintenance, including cylinder heads, valve stem oil seals and piston ring retainers on diesel engines, and for checking waste gases on turbochargers.
