The Faithfull stainless steel rule measures 39 in / 1 m and has a flexible construction for measuring over longer distances. Its dimensions are 1000 × 30 × 1.05 mm.
The rule has metric and imperial scales: one side has inch graduations in 16ths, 32nds and 64ths, while the reverse has metric graduations in 0.5 mm and 1 mm increments. Permanently etched graduations and conversion tables are provided on the rule. Integrated hanging holes allow it to be hung for storage. The flexible stainless steel is described as resisting corrosion.
