About the product

The Faithfull Mainstester Screwdriver is a voltage tester for mains circuit testing, with a 57 mm blade (2.1/4 in). Its ABS construction has a handle and blade with comprehensive insulation, and it includes a pocket clip.

A neon indicator window gives visual confirmation when a circuit contact is live. To test, place the blade on the electrical contact and press a thumb against the metal contact next to the window. The neon bulb illuminates when the contact is live. The tester is manufactured to VDE specification 0680-Part 6-4.77.

Before use, check that the neon bulb functions by testing it on a known live circuit. Never touch the uninsulated part of the blade while testing.
