About the product

The Faithfull Countryman Turfing Iron is a hand tool for cutting beneath turf so sections can be lifted, removed and relaid. Its heart-shaped, flat blade is set at an angle to the handle and can be pushed horizontally beneath cut turf. A back-and-forth motion slices through soil and roots.

The blade is made from heat-treated carbon steel and has a powder-coated finish. The handle is a European ash T-grip with a protective lacquer coating and FSC® certification. The head is 215 mm wide and the tool is 1330 mm long.
