The Einhell TE-SM 36/8 L Li is a cordless sliding mitre saw in the Power X-Change system. It runs on two standard 18 V batteries, giving a 36 V battery supply, and uses the same batteries and chargers as the smaller tools in that system.

Its sliding action provides a maximum cutting length of 305 mm. A laser line guide helps establish the cutting line, while side supports prop up long materials. The rotating saw table has positive stops for commonly used angles; the saw bevels up to 45° left and mitres up to 47° left or right. A hold-down clamp secures the workpiece, and a depth stop enables trenching cuts. A spindle lock assists with blade changes.
