The Eberspacher Hydronic S3 D5E CS is a 12 V diesel water heater unit supplied with pumps. It is a replacement for existing Hydronic S3 CS installations and is intended for use with Easy Start Pro or S+ analogue controllers.

The heater has a 5 kW output that modulates from 1.3 kW to 5 kW. Its dimensions are 215 × 91 × 144 mm. The complete kit includes the heater unit, a digital fuel metering pump and a water circulation pump.

• Applications include cars, vans, small buses, caravans, RVs, mobile homes, mobile workshops and electric vehicles.
• Heating uses include cabin interior heating and engine pre-heating. Domestic hot water is also possible when coupled with a plate heat exchanger, hydroplate or calorifier.
• The stated service life is 3,000 hours. With an Easy Start Select, fault codes can be displayed through the workshop menu.
• This heater is for 12 V only. Check the existing unit’s data label: it is a CS replacement only. It works with Easy Start Pro and S+ analogue controllers, and is not a direct replacement for CL heater versions using Easy Start Select LIN controllers.
