Eberspacher Espar Water Heater Hydronic S3 D5E Diesel Vehicle Kit inc Easy Start PRO 5kW 12v

The Eberspacher Hydronic S3 D5E is a 12 V diesel water heater supplied as a vehicle kit with an Easy Start PRO timer. Its 5 kW heating power is intended for cabin and saloon heating and engine pre-heating. Domestic hot water is also possible when the heater is coupled with a plate heat exchanger or calorifier.

Heating output is controlled steplessly from 1.3 kW to 5 kW. The heater measures 215 × 91 × 144 mm, and its service life is 3,000 hours. Altitude adjustment operates automatically up to 1,500 m above sea level and can be activated manually above that level using Easy Start PRO; the system is described for operation up to 3,000 m. Easy Start PRO provides a text-based fault description.

• The kit includes the Easy Start PRO 7-day programmable timer and a manual on/off switch.
• Also included are the heater unit, water circulation pump, digital fuel metering pump, combustion air and vehicle exhaust silencers, and pre-cut exhaust pipe.
• The kit contains a wiring harness, fuel line and fittings, fuel pump bracket, low-profile fuel standpipe, coolant hose and fixings, water pump harness, mounting brackets, clamps, bolts, electrical connections, fuses, relays, plug kits and cable ties.
