Eberspacher Espar Hydronic S3 Petrol Gasoline B5E High Altitude Ready Water Heater Kit 12v 5kW 17061 BTU inc Easy Start Pro Timer

The Eberspacher Hydronic S3 B5E is a petrol-powered vehicle water heater operating on 12 V, with 5 kW heating power. It is intended for cabin or saloon heating and engine pre-heating. Domestic hot water is also possible when coupled with a plate heat exchanger, hydroplate or calorifier.

The heater provides stepless output control from 1.3 kW to 5 kW. With the included Easy Start PRO timer, altitude operation is supported up to 3,000 m (9,850 ft). Altitude adjustment is automatic up to 1,500 m above sea level; above that, it can be activated manually using the timer. The heater unit measures 215 × 91 × 144 mm, and its service life is 3,000 hours. The timer provides text-based fault descriptions.

The kit includes the Easy Start PRO 7-day programmable timer, heater unit, digital fuel metering pump, water circulation pump, combustion air silencer, pre-cut exhaust pipe and vehicle exhaust silencer. It also contains a wiring harness, fuel line and fittings, fuel pump bracket, low-profile fuel standpipe, coolant hose and fixings, fan relay, water pump harness, mounting brackets, clamps, bolts, electrical connections, fuses, relays, plug kits, cable ties and a UK warranty certificate/booklet. A two-year warranty is included.

Applications include cars, vans, small buses, caravans, RVs, mobile homes, mobile workshops and electric vehicles. The system is 12 V only. The dedicated CANBUS switch wiring loom must not be modified without prior written instruction from EBUK (Eberspacher UK).
