About the product

The Eberspacher EDiTH is a diagnostic test unit for compatible heaters. It reads control-box errors, diagnoses an installed heater and can switch on a heater directly from a PC.

The kit includes a heater-to-PC interface unit, a serial adaptor cable and a USB adaptor cable. The software runs on Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, and is available in several languages.

  • Displays the visual functional sequence, operating status, measured values and heater data.
  • Detects the heater’s fitness for altitudes.
  • Suitable for the listed Eberspächer D1L C, D1L C Compact, B1L C Compact, D3L C, D3L C Compact, B3L C Compact, D3L P, D5L C, D8L C, Airtronic D2, D4, D4S and D5, and Hydronic D3W, D4W, D5W, M, M-II, L and L-II heaters.
  • Does not operate with original equipment manufacturers’ control units. Specific test cables are also required.
