The Eberspacher EasyStart Select is a heater controller for Airtronic air heaters and Hydronic water heaters. It provides room temperature control, heating and ventilation modes, and is suitable for 12 V or 24 V installations. It is surface mountable and measures 55 mm wide, 46 mm high and 9 mm deep.

Compatibility is limited to Airtronic and Hydronic heaters with the latest-version control unit, identified by the H-Kit logo on the heater dataplate. Compatible models are Airtronic D2, D4, D4S, D5 and S2 D2L, and Hydronic, Hydronic II, Hydronic II C, Hydronic II Comfort and Hydronic M II. Continuous running is only available with Airtronic models; Hydronic models have a maximum run time of 1 hour.

The workshop menu is accessed by pressing both buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. With the heater switched on, item 1.1 displays the current fault code and item 1.2 displays the five most recent codes, F1 to F5, using the buttons. At item 4.1, before switching on the heater, the operating time can be set to Off or 10 to 720 minutes.

Supplied items are the EasyStart Select controller, mounting bracket, adhesive mounting pad, electrical connector housings and terminals, and installation and operating instruction manuals. The product has a 12-month warranty.
