The Eberspacher Airtronic S2 D2L is a 2 kW diesel air heater kit for Volkswagen Transporter T5 and T6 vehicles, with an external mounting bracket and an 802 controller. The controller does not provide diagnostic readouts.

The heater has stepless heat output control, real-time temperature monitoring and automatic altitude adjustment up to 3000 m above sea level. It includes CAN, LIN and S+ interfaces. Diagnostic readouts are available when upgrading to the EasyStart PRO; the kit’s 802 controller does not include this function.

The kit includes the heater, controller, digital fuel dosing pump, wiring harness, fuel tank sender unit and vehicle-specific fuel pick-up parts. It also contains ducting, air outlets, exhaust and combustion-air components, mounting parts, fuses and documentation. The wiring harness is 5 m long, and the exhaust silencer measures 218 × 95 × 30 mm.

The product is for 12 V systems. The dedicated CANBUS switch wiring loom must not be modified without prior written instruction from EBUK. Annual servicing is advised. A two-year warranty is included.
