The Eberspacher Airtronic S2 D2L is a 2 kW, 12 V diesel air heater for Volkswagen Transporter T5 and T6 vehicles. The kit includes an EasyStart PRO controller with a 7-day programmable timer, built-in temperature sensor and text-based fault display.

Heating output is steplessly controlled and modulated to maintain the required temperature. Automatic altitude adjustment operates up to 3,000 m above sea level. The heater has CAN, LIN and S+ interfaces, and an integrated altitude sensor. Its potential service life is 5,000 hours, depending on installation and use; annual servicing is advised. A 2-year warranty is included.

• Kit contents include a digital fuel pump, wiring harness, fuel tank sender unit and fuel pick-up kit, external mounting bracket, ducting and air outlet components, exhaust silencer and pipe, combustion air pipe, pump holder, fuse holder kit with fuses, and fixing hardware.
• The exhaust silencer measures 218 × 95 × 30 mm; the exhaust pipe is 1 m, combustion air pipe is 500 mm, and ducting totals 1.6 m.
• The wiring harness cannot be modified. The dedicated CANBUS switch wiring loom must not be modified without prior written instruction from EBUK.
