The Eberspacher Airtronic S2 D2 is a 12 V vehicle air heater kit with 2.2 kW heating power and an EasyStart Pro controller. It has stepless heat output control and real-time temperature monitoring. Automatic altitude adjustment operates up to 3000 m above sea level, using an integrated altitude sensor.

The EasyStart Pro provides timers, external temperature sensing and text-based fault readouts. The heater includes CAN, LIN and S+ interfaces. CAN-based controllers include EasyStart PRO and EasyStart Web; LIN supports earlier EasyStart controllers, including EasyStart Remote+ and EasyStart Select. S+ can be used with a mini-controller or another Eberspacher analogue switching source.

• Kit contents include the heater, controller, digital fuel pump, electrical wiring harness, fuel pipe, 1 m of 60 mm ducting, outlet hood, directional outlet, connector grille and ducting clips.
• Also included are a floor mounting plate, exhaust pipe sections, silencer, end cap, clamps, P clip, combustion air pipe and end cap, fuel pump holder, fixing hardware, fuse holder kit with fuses, and a warranty and technical information booklet.
• The heater is 12 V only. A vehicle-specific fuel integration kit may be required.
• The wiring harness must not be modified. The CANBUS switch wiring loom must not be modified without prior written instruction from Eberspacher UK.
• Annual servicing is advised. The stated potential service life is 5000 hours and depends on installation and use. The kit includes a two-year manufacturer UK warranty.
