About the product

The Eberspacher Airtronic D4 Plus is a 12 V diesel heater supplied with a fuel pump and installation CD. Its 4 kW output is intended for vehicle heating, and it does not use heat from the engine, so it can operate while the engine is off.

Applications include road vehicles such as ambulances, recreational vehicles, vans, small buses, caravans, mobile homes, mobile workshops, electric vehicles, motorhomes and campervans. Marine use is described for replacement installations where suitable marine components have already been fitted. The heater is also described for replacing an Airtronic D4S heater or upgrading from an Airtronic D2.

For installation, the heater is designed to operate with ducting that has a minimum internal dimension of 75 mm; ducting with a 90 mm internal diameter may also be used. The outlet hood is not included. A 75 mm or 90 mm outlet hood is available depending on requirements. The unit is certified for installation in passenger areas and near dangerous substances.
