The Eberspacher Airtronic D2 is a 12 V air heater kit with a single 2.2 kW outlet for road vehicles. It provides programmable independent heating without using heat from the engine, with electronic controls and temperature regulation.

The kit includes the heater, electrical harnesses and connections, a stainless steel exhaust pipe with silencer, clamps and P-clips, a 0.5 m combustion intake pipe, a 60 mm air outlet and 1 m of 60 mm flexible ducting. The fuel system includes a metering pump, fuel pipe and hose clips; a fuel pick-up/standpipe is not included. Also supplied are a floor mounting plate, air entry grille, clips and screws for standard installation, and an installation manual.

An optional 7-day timer upgrade is available. If this upgrade is chosen, the standard controller pictured is removed from the kit where applicable. The heater is stated to be certified for installation in passenger areas and near dangerous substances. Applications include vans, small buses, caravans, mobile homes, mobile workshops, electric vehicles, motorhomes, camper vans and 4 x 4 vehicles. The stated warranty is 36 months.
