Eberspacher Airtronic D2 2kw 7500 BTU Diesel Heater 12v with Victron Cerbo & Touch50 Control

The Eberspacher Airtronic D2 is a self-regulating, diesel-fired air heater with electronic controls, supplied with a Victron Cerbo GX and Touch50 touchscreen display. The heater operates at 12 V and provides four modulated heat output stages according to the difference between measured ambient temperature and the required set temperature.

Maximum output is 2.2 kW (7,500 BTU), with high at 1.8 kW (6,500 BTU), medium at 1.2 kW (4,100 BTU) and low at 0.85 kW (2,900 BTU). The Cerbo GX controls the heater via the yellow wire, switched by its programmable onboard relay. A remote temperature sensor, wired or wireless Ruuvi type, can be fitted to set activation and deactivation temperatures.

• Includes electrical harnesses and connections, 1 m stainless steel exhaust pipe, exhaust silencer and additional exhaust clamps.
• Also includes 1 m combustion intake pipe; 6 m of 4 mm outside-diameter fuel pipe from dosing pump to heater; 1 m of 4 mm outside-diameter fuel pipe from fuel source to dosing pump; and a complete plastic fuel system with metering pump.
• Air components include a 60 mm outlet, 1 m of 60 mm flexible ducting and an air entry grille. Clips and screws for standard installation are included.
• The kit excludes a fuel pick-up/standpipe. Additional exhaust pipe lengths, air outlets and ducting are available.

Normal heating operation is suitable up to 1,500 metres. An altitude kit, part number 221000332200, is required for operation above 1,500 to 4,000 metres. The heater is certified for installation in passenger areas and near dangerous substances. Applications listed include trucks and lorries, vans, small buses, RVs, caravans, motorhomes, mobile workshops, electric vehicles and 4 x 4 vehicles for rear heating. A 24-month return-to-provider warranty applies.
