About the product

The Eberspacher Airtronic D2 is a 24 V diesel air heater kit for road vehicles, with an Easy Start Select Controller and four modulated heat output stages. The stages are maximum 2.2 kW (7,500 BTU), high 1.8 kW (6,500 BTU), medium 1.2 kW (4,100 BTU) and low 0.85 kW (2,900 BTU); output depends on the difference between measured ambient temperature and the required set temperature.

The kit includes electrical harnesses and connections, a 1 m stainless steel exhaust pipe, silencer and exhaust clamps, a 1 m combustion intake pipe, fuel pipes, a 60 mm air outlet, fuel system with metering pump, 1 m of 60 mm flexible ducting, an air entry grille, clips, screws and an installation manual. The fuel pipe from dosing pump to heater is 6 m long and 4 mm outside diameter × 1.25 mm inside diameter; the 1 m pipe from fuel source to pump is 6 mm outside diameter × 2 mm inside diameter.

It is suitable for standard heating operation up to 1,500 m altitude. An altitude kit, part number 221000332200, is required for operation above 1,500 m and up to 4,000 m. The heater is certified for installation in passenger areas and near dangerous substances. Applications include trucks, small buses, RVs, caravans, mobile homes, mobile workshops, electric vehicles and 4 × 4 vehicles.
