Eberspacher Airtronic D2 12v Heater Easystart and Install Kit

The Eberspacher Airtronic D2 is a 12 V diesel air heater supplied with an Easy Start Select controller and installation kit. Its programmable independent heating does not use heat from the engine, and its four modulated output stages respond to the difference between measured ambient temperature and the required set temperature.

Heat outputs are maximum 2.2 kW (7500 BTU), high 1.8 kW (6500 BTU), medium 1.2 kW (4100 BTU) and low 0.85 kW (2900 BTU). The heater is suitable for operation up to 1500 metres altitude. Heating above 1500 metres and up to 4000 metres requires a high altitude kit. It is certified for installation in passenger areas and near dangerous substances.

• Kit contents: self-regulating air heater with electronic controls; Easy Start Select controller; electrical harnesses and connections.
• Exhaust components: 1 metre of stainless steel exhaust pipe, silencer and required clamps. Additional 24 mm exhaust pipe lengths are available.
• Air components: 1 metre combustion air intake pipe, 60 mm air outlet, 1 metre of 60 mm flexible ducting and air entry grille. Additional outlets and ducting are available.
• Fuel components: 6 metres of pipe from dosing pump to heater (4 mm OD × 1.25 mm ID); 1 metre from fuel source to dosing pump (6 mm OD × 2 mm ID); complete plastic fuel system with metering pump. Fuel tank pick-up or standpipe is not included.
• Clips, screws for standard installation and a comprehensive installation manual are included.

Applications named include trucks and lorries, vans and small buses, RVs, caravans and motorhomes, mobile workshops, electric vehicles, and 4 × 4 vehicles for rear heating.
