About the product
The DeWalt DCS520 FlexVolt XR is a cordless plunge saw with a brushless, heavy-duty motor. It offers the same power as a mains tool and has variable speed, with a no-load speed of 2,500–4,200 rpm.
The saw has a 165 mm blade with a 20 mm bore and a bevel capacity of 47°. Its maximum cutting depth is 59 mm at 90° and 44 mm at 45°; with guide rails, these depths are 55 mm and 40 mm respectively. The 42-tooth precision blade is described as giving a fine, accurate finish with little breakout in laminates. Parallel plunge, rail adjustment and an anti-kickback function are also included. The enclosed guard gives 90% dust extraction capability.
