The DeWalt DCS520 FlexVolt XR is a cordless brushless plunge saw with variable speed from 2,500 to 4,200 rpm. Its heavy-duty motor offers the same power as a mains tool, and the saw is designed for plunging into a wide variety of materials with consistent speed and accurate cuts under heavy loads.

The anti-kickback system helps guard against injury or damage to the workpiece. The enclosed guard provides 90% dust extraction when the saw is fitted to an extractor. Parallel plunge action supports a smooth, constant hand position; rail adjustment lets the saw be adjusted, and the variable speed setting allows the correct speed to be selected. Its 42-tooth blade gives a fine, accurate finish with very little breakout in laminates.
