The DeWalt DCS520 FlexVolt XR is a cordless brushless plunge saw with a 54 V power system and a 165 mm blade. Its variable speed ranges from 2,500 to 4,200 rpm, and the saw has a 47° bevel capacity.

It has an anti-kickback function, rail adjustment and a closed guard with 90% dust extraction capability when fitted to an extractor. The 42-tooth blade is intended to give a fine, accurate finish with little breakout in laminates.
