About the product

The DeWalt DCMCS575 is a 54 V cordless chainsaw with a 500 mm bar, powered by DeWalt FLEXVOLT batteries. The bare-tool package includes the DCMCS575N-XJ chainsaw and comes without a battery, charger or case.

It has a brushless motor, a 3/8 in chain pitch and a chain speed of 13.5 m/s. Its automatic oiling system lubricates the chain, while the tooled chain tensioning system is designed to retain the bar. The metal bucking spike and ergonomic grip are also features of the saw.

  • Compatible with all DeWalt 54 V FLEXVOLT batteries
  • Machine weight: 5.5 kg
  • Chain brake stops the chain in less than one second if triggered
  • Chain speed is optimised for improved torque

The 54 V batteries can also power DeWalt 18 V XR cordless power tools. The chainsaw is battery powered and requires less maintenance than a petrol chainsaw. Its performance is described as on a par with 50 cc petrol machines.
