The DeWalt DCMCS574 is a 54V cordless chainsaw with a 450 mm bar, powered by DeWalt Flexvolt batteries. Its brushless motor is designed for longer runtimes per charge, and its performance is described as comparable to a 40cc petrol machine.

The saw has a 3/8-inch chain pitch, a chain speed of 13.5 m/s, an automatic chain-oiling system and a tool-operated chain-tensioning system. A chain brake stops the chain in less than one second if triggered. Metal bucking spikes and an ergonomic grip are also fitted.

The 5.0 kg bare tool is supplied as the DCMCS574N-XJ cordless chainsaw. No battery, charger or case is included.
