About the product

The DeWalt DCMCS574 is a 54V cordless chainsaw with a 450 mm bar and a brushless motor. It is compatible with all DeWalt 54V Flexvolt batteries, which can also power DeWalt 18V XR cordless power tools.

The saw has a 3/8-inch chain pitch, a chain speed of 13.5 m/s and a weight of 5.0 kg. Its automatic oiling system lubricates the chain, while the tooled chain-tensioning system is designed to maintain chain tension during use. A metal bucking spike and ergonomic grip are also fitted. The chain brake stops the chain in less than one second if triggered.

The set includes the DCMCS574X1-GB chainsaw, a DCB547 Flexvolt battery, a DCB118 battery charger, a chain cover and a storage case. The battery type is lithium-ion. The chainsaw is described as having performance on a par with a 40cc petrol machine.
