About the product
The DeWalt DCMAS5713 is a cordless split boom power head with a 54 V brushless motor. It uses DeWalt FLEXVOLT lithium-ion batteries and forms the base of a multi-tool system.
Its quick-change attachment system accepts dedicated split boom attachments, including grass trimmers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers and pole saws. The power head can therefore be configured for those different tasks.
The cordless system is described as an alternative to petrol equipment, with less noise, no fumes and reduced maintenance requirements. FLEXVOLT batteries switch voltage to work with 54 V XR tools and the broader 18 V XR cordless platform, where they provide extended runtime.
