The Dewalt DCG418 is a cordless angle grinder with a brushless 54 V motor, part of the FLEXVOLT High Power range. It runs on DeWalt Flexvolt lithium-ion batteries, which are compatible with the 54v Flexvolt range and DeWalt 18v XR tools. Batteries, charger and case are not included.

Its electronic brake stops the wheel quickly when the trigger is disengaged, while the electronic clutch reduces kickback reaction in the event of a pinch or stall. Mesh screens over the air intake vents restrict dust being drawn through the motor. The rubber overmould provides grip and comfort. A recessed spindle lock allows maximum cutting depth and greater protection for the button in confined spaces. The two-position side handle offers comfort and control.
