DeWalt DCD996 18v XR Cordless Brushless Combi Drill 2 x 5ah Li-ion Battery Charger Case

The Dewalt DCD996 is an 18 V XR cordless brushless combi drill with automatic high-speed hammer action reaching 38,250 bpm. Its three-speed all-metal transmission has no-load speeds of 0–450, 1300 and 2000 rpm.

For drilling, the stated maximum capacities are 55 mm in wood, 15 mm in metal and 16 mm in masonry. The 1.5–13 mm ratcheting keyless chuck has an automatic spindle lock. An electronic clutch provides 11-position adjustable torque control; maximum torque is 95 Nm hard and 66 Nm soft, with an 820 W power output.

The adjustable, three-position LED worklight has high, medium and low settings, including a 20-minute delay setting. Other features include an intelligent trigger, improved grip design, multi-position auxiliary handle, steel belt hook and magnetic bit holder. The drill weighs 2.1 kg and measures 213 mm long, 208 mm high and 70 mm wide.

The set contains the DCD996 combi drill, two 5.0Ah XR Li-Ion battery packs with state-of-charge indicators, a multi-voltage XR charger, belt hook, magnetic bit holder, multi-position side handle and TSTAK carry case.
