The Dewalt DCD799 is a compact 18 V XR cordless brushless hammer drill driver with a two-speed, all-metal transmission. It measures 164 mm long and weighs 1.09 kg.

It has a 1.5–13 mm metal chuck, 15-position adjustable torque control and a maximum torque of 74 Nm. No-load speed is 0–450/0–1,650 rpm, with an impact rate of 0–7,650/0–28,050 bpm. Maximum drilling capacities are 13 mm in masonry, 13 mm in metal and 30 mm in wood.
